- Bromocriptine

Bromocriptine has a prolactin inhibiting effect,
producing lactation inhibition. Used as a treatment
for Parkinsons disease. A powerful but selective dopaminergic agent that can
cause growth hormone release in cases of too little growth hormone or
normalize growth hormone levels that are too high or too low.

Dosage: The initial dosage is 1/2 to one 2.5mg tablet
daily. The therapeutic dosage is usually around 5 to 7.5 mg and the range is
from 2.5mg up to 15 mg per day.
Precautions: Can cause nausea, can restart menstrual cycle in women past menopause.
